  • Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999) - Poetic, visual feast
  • Saved! (2004) - Mandy Moore at the top of her game
  • Napoleon Dynamite (2004) - Too many lines quoted, still funny
  • Monty Python's The Holy Grail (1975) - Not as good as the Flying Circus, but classic
  • Brazil (1985) - A beautiful nightmare
  • Labyrinth (1986) - It appeals to my 80s childishness
  • The Princess Bride (1987) - Twue Wuv
  • Usual Suspects (1995) - Excellent storytelling
  • Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid - Seventies lovin'
  • Blade Runner (1982) - Cold, dark, aching
  • Sound of Music (1965) - Sing-along!
  • Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) - Weird, fun-creepy.
  • Fantasia (1940) - Comforting, not exciting
  • Little Shop of Horrors (1960) - Funny 60s "horror"
  • Dr. Strangelove (1964) - It's a little too dark for me
  • Fargo - I think I got it, but the killing of the cop was more than I could handle
  • Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert - cross dressing road movie, like Connie & Carla, probably better
  • Raising Arizona - Haven't seen, but it's got Holly Hunter, so it's a must

Hat tip to JohnnyW
filmsite.org's list of cult films
There are some really campy or independent ones I like that are so far off the radar, they're not even cult. But that's another list.

Cloned From:

Thanks for the hat tip!

I like most of these (I won't get into the one major exception, The Princess Bride;)), but especially Ghost Dog. I can't get enough of it. If you like the RZA soundtrack, you ought to hear the album Heavy Mental, by Killa Priest; he's the one rapping on a couple of the tracks.

I also lived Saved!, so I have to like it...
