Ooh, good list! Must clone.
Me too!
Glad people are jumpin' on my crazy new bandwagon. :-D
Very cool list.
Thanks! :-D
Did you see this new season of Big Love? It was pretty good. They sort of made the wives villainous, which was a nice spin.
Did you see Lost's third season? WOW. Possibly the best season finale in the history of season finales. Exciting, action-packed, tear-jerking, meaningful.
Entourage has gone so far downhill it's hard to watch. Every episode is now built on some contrived situation designed to fill an episode.
My favorite is still 24, which you don't have on here!
I have seen both the last seasons of Big Love and Lost, and both were amazing. I really need to update this list. You're right, Lost's S3 finale is one of the best season finales I have ever witnessed (though the Buffy S5 finale will always take the cake).
Entourage...okay, here's the deal: The first season was quite fun and entertaining. The second season was unexpectedly richer and deeper, and compared to the first, I was blown away. The third season was occasionally bumpy, but I saw past the bumps and still absolutely loved it. This last season, the fourth...well, the premiere is probably the best episode of the entire series, and the season as a whole started out strong. But after such promise, it just went back to being "Vince and E do professional shit while Drama and Turtle fuck around." It also crossed a few boundaries, becoming almost misogynistic (also, whatever happened to Turtle's shoe girl from S3?). I mean, I still liked it. But it lowered my expectations dramatically. Kind of how I felt about Spider-Man 3.
Yep, ''Throught The Looking Glass'' was a masterpiece, definitely one of the best hours of television I've ever seen. Big Love continues to shine, and as you're a far of Gilmore Girls, I feel I should mention how much I love the show, it's terrific and hugely underrated.
Yes, Gilmore Girls is great.
I'm just finishing up season five, and I'm worried about what'll happen once I get to season seven. I know that creator Amy Sherman-Palladino split between seasons six and seven because of heated contract negotiations, and I've heard that the season without her is simply not very good. So I love the show, but I'm sad it might go out with a whimper instead of a bang.
I'm halfway through season 7 as we speak, it's certainly not on par with season 3 or 5, but from a fan perspective it's still highly enjoyable.
That's good to hear. I'm guessing I'll find out for myself some time in the first half of 2008.
Season 7 is being released on the 13th of November.
Awesome. I just put S6 in my Netflix queue, so by the time I'm done with that, S7'll definitely be available.
I'm with you on having seen all the Buffys; now that Veronica Mars is done, have you seen all the episodes? I'm finishing up the final season right now--excellent.
Johnny Waco
This list is a little outdated now, but I still haven't seen all of the Veronica Mars episodes; I missed the penultimate one it was broadcast, and though I downloaded it some time ago, I still haven't watched it.
Having loved loved loved the first two seasons, I actually didn't like the third very much, except for the fabulous finale.
I really liked the second season as well, except for the final episode--I thought they tried to cram way too much into 45 minutes.
Johnny Waco
Now, see, that's probably my favorite episode. ;-)
Andy Hallett has left the building. A small part of me is saying this must be an April Fool's joke. Thirty-three years old.
I am sorry. Sea Breezes for everyone.
I was crushed when I found out about this.
I wrote a piece about Andy for Blogcritics Magazine.
I must say I am quite happy with your girl sometimes. Also, Newswipe is awesome.
