big fan of the Saw movies too, hyped about Saw III?

Not as I was for the second movie.
I feel like the movie it's just a pretext to find strange ways to kill people, even if I don't know anything about the movie except from the teasers.

But, I had a bad apprehension for the second film too and I was agreeably surprised. I hope it will be the same here.

I agree , i'm bit worried about this next one. mainly cus the last one ended so well and then i found out Donnie Wahlberg who played Eric Matthews didn't sign up for a third, which gets rid of prospect of direct follow up from the final shot of second film :(

Sadly, the series is just getting ridiculous...

I can't help finding the weight of recent films somehow oppressive. Only 12 films before 1950 (the first half of cinema history)!!

I’m calling myself a very average movies viewer. I’m mostly a book reader than movie viewer. The list is 100% personal, I don’t want to add classic movies to the list that I've never seen or didn’t like just to look cool, or like Jean-Claude Van Damme would say: “aware”. ~_^

I've not seen a lot of pre-50’s movies. I would like to, but they didn’t play very often on television and I’m not a big renter/buyer of DVD. They’re some that I really want to see: A Trip to the Moon, Battleship Potemkin, The Blue Angel, Freaks, Nosferatu, Orpheus, etc.
I’ll probably try to cath them somewhere, but like I’ve said, most of the time I don’t go to movies; I wait for the movies to come to me. : P

Heh...I just saw Sean Ellis' "Cashback" a few weeks ago.

I like some ideas in the movie, but I found some points unrealistic, like... I understand that this is movie, but I had difficulty to buy that almost all girls that go in supermarket are like supermodels (?), my friend and I laught about it! :P Anyway, I found the movie poetic and I like it. And the music by Guy Farley is amazing.

Oh, I agree. Especially since he's supposed to be working at the supermarket in the middle of the night! Christ, it's a freakshow in the DAYTIME, so... Besides, I also found it unrealistic that he'd see a naked girl at such a young age and be so enraptured by her. One of my sister's friends disrobed in front of me at about the same age and, although I remember it fondly now, it mostly just confused the hell out of me at the time.

Ok, this would be the perfect list if you traded:
Saw II for Spirited Away
X2 for Eraserhead[the only missing David Lynch film]
The last 2 POTCs for This Is Spinal Tap and Fargo
Dawn of the Dead[remake]for the original
TCON: Lion, Witch and Wardrobe for Akira

Fargo is there, I didn't seen the other movies yet. I wanted to see Eraserhead for a long time, but it rarely play on tv.
