As if the Home Page Weren't Cluttered Enough
Submitted by jim on Thu, 03/04/2004 - 10:39As if the home page weren't cluttered enough, I've gone and added another box to it. For variety's sake, I put it on the right instead of the left. The purpose is to make the site a little more welcoming to newcomers. You might have to do a SHIFT+Refresh to see the fancy dashed border and cornsilk background. As usual, comments welcome, although this is hardly an earth-shaking feature.
Themes Going Away
Submitted by jim on Mon, 03/01/2004 - 11:31My Listology work this winter might be rather boring. I think I'm going to re-factor the code and remove some of the detritus. Hopefully when I finish that I can get back to the fun stuff of adding new features. One of the casualties is going to be custom themes. This is a feature that has been disabled for some time (for folks that don't already have custom themes) for security reasons and because only a very few people used it.
Technical Difficulties
Submitted by jim on Wed, 01/28/2004 - 08:50I made some changes last night that should make Listology more secure. Unfortunately, those changes seem to be messing up the posting of long lists. I'll post here when I've resolved the issue.

Rate the New Listology Design
Submitted by jim on Mon, 12/29/2003 - 12:59Rate the New Listology Design: I've mocked up a *possible* new look for Listology here. Please vote your thoughts, and comments/criticisms are welcome. Obviously I personally prefer the new design, but I'm not wedded to it. Here's what I was thinking:
- I wanted to eliminate a lot of the clutter to free up screen real estate and focus on the content.
